5-year guarantee for Cozip products

 

1) Purpose of the guarantee

The above-mentioned products are guaranteed against any premature deterioration in their essential characteristics, under normal use, indoors or outdoors: -Resistance to breakage at least equal to 65% of the original value announced in the technical data sheet, -Uniform ageing of the colours of surfaces directly exposed to UV rays in the same orientation, -Preservation of the supple qualities of the finished products, under normal conditions of exposure to the elements, finishing and use (weight greater than 90% of the original value).

2) Exclusions

The guarantee is excluded if the defect arises from :

  • defects attributable to transporters, storage and handling conditions, vandalism
  • errors in design, assembly or installation
  • inappropriate use
  • the consequences of chemical or abrasive attacks, atmospheric pollution, other aggressions or accidental stains (pen ink, tar or any other migrating agents)
  • the presence of stains or aureoles caused by greasy or indelible substances (industrial greases and oils, etc.)
  • temperature differentials between the original product and the new product. colour differences between exposed and unexposed parts to ultra-violet rays or bad weather
  • improper or non-existent maintenance.

 

3) Conditions of application of the guarantee

The warranty takes effect on the date of delivery of the product to the customer. The right to the guarantee only applies if the defects are notified to Cozip by registered letter, with acknowledgement of receipt, within a maximum period of 30 calendar days after their appearance. The invoice for the goods must also have been paid in full to Cozip. If the product was not purchased directly from Cozip, the complaint must be made to the retailer who supplied the Cozip product. After examination of the case, and agreement, within the framework of the guarantees in paragraph 1, and subject to the exclusions in paragraph 2, the guarantee consists of the exchange of the product recognised as defective by Cozip, in proportion to the number of years of use since the date of purchase, according to the obsolescence coefficient described below. No compensation is provided under this warranty.

 

4) Coverage rules 

Before committing yourself to the guarantee, make sure you have the invoice valid on the date of the project.

The guarantee is valid on all our products except the bed bases, which are guaranteed for 2 years.
